TransitionTalks grew out of The Arlington Institute’s TAI Presents speaker series, which began in the 1990s in Arlington, Virginia. The program was renamed to TransitionTalks when TAI moved to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, in 2006.
TransitionTalks focuses on the global transition we are in the midst of and the various factors converging to redefine our world. Our underlying presumption is that humanity is experiencing an unprecedented shift in the evolution of the species that is exposing new personal and social capabilities and possibilities. It is our hope that this speaker series helps to illuminate the path going forward and opens minds to the new world that is emerging.
The Arlington Institute brings provocative and sometimes unusual speakers to the forum. They come from a broad spectrum of disciplines that have included a landscape architect, a physicist, a remote viewer, an alternative health physician, a paranormal researcher, a financial analyst, a futurist, a dream researcher, and a number of others. Almost all presenters are published authors.

Dr. David Martin

Robert Edward Grant

Frank Jacob
Frank is an international award-winning filmmaker, public speaker, popular talk-show guest, visual artist, musician, and influencer. Having teamed up with US motion picture production company Screen Addiction, his recent works explore the frontiers of consciousness-raising subjects in diverse presentations and through award-winning films such as “Solar (R)evolution,” “The Klaus Dona Chronicles,” and “Packing For Mars.” In 2019 Frank directed and co-produced the series “Timeless,” a first of its kind German format exploring the world of the paranormal for US Online Network GAIA.
Penny Kelly
Penny is a writer, teacher, and consciousness researcher who has spent over 40 years helping people develop intuition, expand awareness, and navigate personal transformation. Through her global teaching and consulting practice, she offers courses on developing intuition, getting well naturally, organic gardening, and other consciousness-related topics.
Gregg Braden
Gregg is a five-time New York Times best-selling author, scientist and pioneer bridging science, social policy and human potential. His work includes 15+ film credits, and 12 award-winning books published in over 40 languages. Suzanne Giesemann
Suzanne is a teacher of personal transformation, an author, and a medium who has been recognized on the Watkins’ list of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People. A former Navy Commander with a master’s degree in National Security Affairs, she served as a commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
